Lots of deadstock vintage lucite, resin, german glass--even some collectable Cracker Jacks charms mixed in! Vintage Deadstock Lucite and Milagros on Sterling Silver. 7 1/2" long. Let's have a word about Milagros, shall we? I use 'em often and I assume that everyone knows what they are. But you know what they say about assuming. I hate that expression. Annoying. Anyhoo- Milagros, sometimes called Ex-Votos, are metal religious pieces of various shapes and sizes found throughout Latin America and Mediterranean Europe. They are used to petition the saints for help or protection, or to thank the saints for prayers answered. Most importantly they are so dang cute. Wondering about this "Deadstock" business that I'm constantly saying? Yes? No? I'll tell you anyway. Deastock refers to unused goods. The vintage deadstock items are old and have been gathering dust in some warehouse until people broke in and started selling them on the web for lots of money. Umm, ixnay that last part. I mean next to last. The stealing business. Stealing is wrong. So is slander.
